Crosspay Giving is an international low-cost payment solution product for Christian organisations that allows contributors to make online payments anytime and anywhere using our website or mobile application. We were established in February 2019 as a payment management system for Christian organisations to receive donations quickly and efficiently through the SaaS (Software as a Service) model. Crosspay Giving is the product of Crosspay Group, a company with over 75 years combined experience specializing in digital cross border payments from Europe to over 120 countries. We also offer Church Management solutions and Custom Apps for churches providing a comprehensive suite of products and services that leverage our relationship with other churches and increases their stickiness. We have enrolled over 200 churches on Crosspay Giving resulting in over 5,000 members benefiting from both our church giving and cross-border payment offerings.
Crosspay Giving was born out of the challenges that the management of Crosspay experienced as church leaders with regards to funds received into charities they were working with. Experts predict that much of society could become cashless in the next decade or so. We believe that most of the church is at the risk of sleepwalking into a cashless society without awareness of the congregation’s needs, trends in payments and, the government’s regulatory directives. Realizing this need of embracing the new normal, we offer comprehensive and competitive solutions to churches and Christian charities to grow and streamline their giving and to improve the engagement with their community.
We are headquartered in London, United Kingdom, considered not only as one of the world’s pivotal financial centres but also the favoured destination of people from around the world to live and operate. Our location is a key asset as most Christian organisations have bases in the UK and are looking for methods to not only receive but also transfer funds to their partners globally. Rakesh Kurian- Chief Executive Officer
Rakesh Kurian is the founder and CEO of Crosspay Limited and the pioneer behind Crosspay Giving. He has a proven track record of success in launching new business projects. Rakesh is a born entrepreneur with over 20 years in the payments industry, having extensive knowledge in foreign exchange, remittances and cross-border payments. Before Crosspay, Rakesh was responsible for the establishment of a money transfer start-up that grew to become a bank in the United Kingdom. Rakesh is instrumental in building successful cutting- edge money transfer products across the world for payment institutions such as UAE Exchange and the BFC Group. He has strong, long-established relationships with banks and global financial institutions in nearly 50 countries.
Rakesh is an ordained Christian minister and one the founding pastors of Capstone Church, an established, growing, and influential church in London, England. He is associated with many Christian ministries across the world and is part of the international leadership of global networks.
Preethy Kurian- Chief Product Officer
Preethy is a technically experienced computer engineer with knowledge across various platforms. Her role develops the product strategy and spearheads the product roadmap as Crosspay scales internationally. She has worked in the banking industry in the United Kingdom with skills in analysing system requirements, design, and product development. She is currently focusing on the delivery of the ground-breaking new features and the global evolution of our platform, whilst bridging the gap between Tech and Commercial.
Preethy Kurian is the lead pastor of Capstone Church, a well-established church in London, England. With over 22 years in Christian ministry, she is a well-respected, international itinerant speaker and Christian influencer. She has travelled to over 20 countries, having strong relationships with multiple organisations and Christian networks worldwide. Preethy is experienced in working on a number of television, radio, and social media platforms like GOD TV, Premiere Christian Network & Faith TV. Preethy is part of HIM International team, Women in Ministry Network- Global Team, and Evangelical Alliance – One People Commission Team.
Sarayu Dharmaraj- Senior Vice President – Operations
Sarayu Dharmaraj, is the Director of Compliance and Operations of Crosspay Technologies. She has over 10 years of experience in the payments and foreign exchange industry. She previously worked with BFC Bank as MLRO and also headed Human Resources for 3 years. Sarayu is responsible for enhancing business practices by ensuring high standards of regulatory and non- regulatory compliance.
Sarayu has in-depth experience in running charities and helps manages Capstone Church governance and compliance. She has a Master’s in law and is also a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). Sarayu Dharmaraj has strategic experience in implementing effective levels of work, while moving the complexity out of daily operations and improving the capability and skills of client management and employees together to achieve organizational goals and business strategy.
Louie Toma- Advisor
Louie operates as an advisor for Crosspay. Louie is also the Managing Director of Hayden IR, an investor relations
consulting firm based out of USA. After 20 years’ experience on the buy-side and sell-side, Louie founded an IR firm in 2017, which he merged with Hayden IR in 2018. Prior to IR, Louie was a senior research analyst for four years covering micro-cap stocks and writing research at Craig-Hallum Capital Group, and spent 16 years as an analyst and PM at notable buy-side investment firms focused on micro and small-cap stocks where he developed a large network of buy-side and sell-side relationships. Louie’s background provides a unique perspective of what investors need from IR firms to engage and develop them as shareholders, and to develop an analyst’s interest that can lead to research coverage. Louie possesses a CFA and a CPA (Florida), and has a M.B.A. from Babson College as well as B.S. from Florida State University in Accounting and Finance.
